Mission Statement

Blakestown and Mountview Youth Initiative is a community project dedicated to the intensive, holistic support of a number of young people (13-18 ) and their families in the Blakestown and Mountview area.

We aspire to empower and nurture the young people, their families, staff and volunteers on their journey towards realizing their full physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual potential.

Blakestown & Mountview Youth Initiative
BMYI is a recognised health promoting organisation (we were awarded the silver Quality Mark in Health Promotion in June 2010) dedicated to providing intense holistic support to a number of young people and their families in the Blakestown and Mountview communities.BMYI are inspired by the values of equality, social justice, empowerment, voluntary participation and self determination. We are a referral based service core funded by the H.S.E. and Local Drugs Task Force. The Project operates from a purpose built facility on the Blakestown Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

 

The Project is managed by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of people from the community and representatives from local agencies
